NeuroStructural Chiropractic vs Traditional Chiropractic

“Our focus and approach is an area of chiropractic called NeuroStructural Correction, which addresses the underlying cause of many symptoms.  Rather than just repairing the visible signs of damage (symptoms), we’ve chosen to focus on the underlying foundation and structure, to help your spine reach its normal structural position”.

At Precision Chiropractic our focus used to be that of a traditional chiropractic office – the goals of treating muHow Strong is your foundation?scle spasms, reducing pain and increasing range of movement, all of which tend to be focused on symptom relief, and in many cases, it was helpful. However, it just wasn’t enough to address the primary reason these symptoms were present and get the best results we could. Now our focus and approach is an area of chiropractic called NeuroStructural Correction, which addresses the underlying cause of many of these symptoms.

NeuroStructural Chiropractic

What is this? You may ask. Well, think of your spine as the foundation and main structure of a building. If this was to shift away from its normal position it would make sense that you would find cracks in walls, doors not working properly and creaky floors.   If you were to spend time to just patch the visible problems and say throw some filler and paint on the cracks, and shave some thickness from the door to get it to close properly, you would know that not too far down the track you would have to do the repair again…  and again… This is similar to what is seen in with traditional chiropractic and many other therapies.

At Precision Chiropractic our focus is NeuroStructural Correction. We have found that rather than just repairing the visible signs of damage, we’ve chosen to fix the underlying foundation and structural problems, and help your spine reach its normal structural position.

Many of the patients that make their way to our office appreciate the fact we take the time to show and explain to them how a NeuroStructural Shift can be an underlying cause that often is revealed as “symptoms”, or what NeuroStructural Chiropractors refer to as Secondary Conditions.
