Chiropractic for Posture

We have all heard how important it is to keep your back straight and shoulders back, but did you know that your posture reflects the health of your spine?

Can you relate to any of the following?

  • Stiffness or tightness in the neck, shoulders, back or legs
  • Pain when your body is in certain positions
  • Tilted or hunched neck/back
  • Slouched shoulders or one shoulder higher than the other
  • Forward head posture
  • Scoliosis (sideways curve of the spine)

If your posture isn’t aligned properly on the outside, it’s most likely not sitting healthily on the inside either.

If left for too long, this ‘slouching’ posture can worsen quickly and start an onslaught of other problems that can make everyday living difficult.  Headaches, pain, difficulty with digestion or breathing, and a whole lot more. We don’t want your body to be in that state!

Try holding a bowling ball close to your chest and then in front of you with outstretched arms. Isn’t it much harder to hold that weight when it’s forward and away from your core? The same thing happens with your head. You add so much extra strain to your neck and spine when your head is held forward or bent over (e.g. while scrolling through your phone). But we know how to fix this!
